{"id":1123,"date":"2025-06-09T12:44:50","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T18:44:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.travispatron.ca\/?p=1123"},"modified":"2026-01-18T19:46:36","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T01:46:36","slug":"the-truth-fears-no-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travispatron.ca\/?p=1123","title":{"rendered":"The Truth Fears No Investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Canada is free and freedom is its nationality.&#8221;<br><br>&#8211; Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Canadians are free to question any historical narrative, no matter how controversial it may be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This includes the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/politics\/anti-holocaust-denial-bill-charter-budget-1.6446671\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Holocaust<\/a> as defined by section 319 of the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" controls poster=\"https:\/\/www.travispatron.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/The-Truth-Fears-No-Investigation.png\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travispatron.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/The-Truth-Fears-No-Investigation.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">If you support our campaign to repeal section 319(2.1) of the Criminal Code, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalist.ca\/declaration.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sign a declaration<\/a> in support of re-registering the Canadian Nationalist Party with Elections Canada.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Willful Promotion of Anti-Semitism<\/strong><br>Everyone who, by communicating statements, other than in private conversation, wilfully promotes antisemitism by condoning, denying or downplaying the Holocaust<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(b)&nbsp;is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(a)&nbsp;is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Section 319(2.1), <em>Criminal Code of Canada<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This section of the Criminal Code ought to be repealed.
